The Riviera Elite Standard

Paris to the Riviera, along the Highway of the Sun

Paris is about ten hours from Nice on the Autoroute du Soleil, France’s “Highway of the Sun”: the A8 to the outskirts of Aix-en-Provence, the A7 along the Rhône Valley, then the A6 through Burgundy and into the capital. Your private driver covers it in both directions: from the Riviera, anywhere between Monaco and Saint-Tropez, you arrive at your Paris address or hotel; from Paris, we collect you at home, at Gare de Lyon, at Orly, at Charles de Gaulle or at Le Bourget, before heading south.

  1. When a flight is canceled

Your flight to Paris canceled at the last minute? Call us: a chauffeur meets you at Nice Airport and drives you north to the capital, with no wait for the next plane.

  2. The family, the dog and the luggage

A family heading south for the summer, with its suitcases and its dog: the V-Class has room for all of you, seven passengers at most, and your pet is welcome on board, on request. A sedan, for its part, holds a single big suitcase and one small bag.

  3. Stopping for lunch

Ten hours are best broken up with lunch: in Lyon, or in a Burgundy village, depending on when you leave. Let us know where you would like to eat, and the stop is built into the trip.

  4. Right to your building

Left Bank, Avenue Montaigne or Place Vendôme: we pull up outside your apartment building or hotel, and your chauffeur carries the suitcases into the lobby.

THE PARIS CALENDAR

Four reasons to make the trip to Paris

Haute couture twice a year, Roland-Garros at the turn of June, the races at Longchamp in October, the Louvre in every season: there is always a good reason for the drive.

  1. January and July

    Haute couture

Twice a year, in January and July, the haute couture houses show their collections in Paris during Fashion Week. Between shows, a phone call is all it takes to find your chauffeur, and your purchases travel with you.

  2. Late May and early June

    Roland-Garros

The French Open is played on clay over the last week of May and the first week of June, in Paris since 1928. You arrive before the first match; after the last, your chauffeur is already waiting.

  3. Early October

The Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe

On the first Sunday in October, Longchamp Racecourse hosts this great flat race, run over 2,400 meters (about 1.5 miles). For race day, arrive without a thought for parking.

  4. Year-round

    The Louvre

The largest art museum in the world, and the most visited, the Louvre welcomes visitors all year, from the Tuileries Garden to the pyramid. Your chauffeur returns whenever your visit ends.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions about traveling between Paris and the Riviera?

How many hours from Nice to Paris by road?

Roughly ten hours from Nice, somewhat more from Monaco, breaks not included. The fare you agreed on stays the same, whatever the traffic.

Can our dog come along?

Yes. Dogs and cats travel with their owners; mention it when booking.

Do you also start from Paris?

Yes: at home, at your hotel, at a Paris train station, or at one of the three airports, Orly, Charles de Gaulle and Le Bourget. We keep a close eye on your train or flight time, then the road south begins.

Is a taxi from Nice to Paris an option?

A taxi can do it; over such a distance, though, the difference shows. With us: a suit and tie, punctuality, a fare agreed beforehand, tolls included, and a brand-new, latest-generation Mercedes-Benz.

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE

Paris and the Riviera, with Valentin

Valentin Sassi founded Riviera Elite Driver in 2016, after a career in tourism and luxury hospitality on the French Riviera. In the five-star hotels and Palaces of Cannes, he learned what great hospitality demands: attention to detail, discretion and the art of anticipation. These qualities have become his signature.

At first the only one behind the wheel, he earned the trust of hotels, partners and loyal clients, then brought together a team of professional chauffeurs who share his vision of the craft.

Since 2023, he has devoted himself entirely to his clients: he personally organizes every journey and coordinates your chauffeurs.

Day and night, seven days a week, the whole team is just a call away. Along the A6 and A7, your chauffeur knows the good places to stop, from the banks of the Rhône to the vineyards of Burgundy.

The vehicle matters. The people who look after you matter more.
