The Riviera Elite Standard

Touch down in Nice, step out in Monaco

Barely 30 kilometers (about 19 miles) lie between the runways of Nice and Monaco: roughly a 40-minute highway drive along the hills above Nice, then down to the sea. A private driver is there from the moment you land, ready to bring you to your address in the Principality: a Monte Carlo hotel, an apartment, or the dock where your yacht is moored.

  1. Terminal 1, Terminal 2 or private aviation

Your flight number is all your chauffeur needs to know where to meet you, whether you land at one of the two passenger terminals or arrive by private jet. Your actual landing time, early or late, decides when your chauffeur gets there.

  2. The V-Class, for trips heavy on luggage

A stay of several weeks, garment bags, golf bags: seven passengers and every piece of their luggage fit in the V-Class; not a single suitcase gets left behind. The entire fleet is made up of new Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

  3. Your arrival is nobody else’s business

Your name, your flight, your address in Monaco: that information stays between you, whoever makes the booking and your chauffeur. On arrival, you are greeted without fuss and driven straight to your destination.

  4. One highway, three corniches

Three cliffside roads link Nice to Monaco, each at its own height: the Basse Corniche along the water, the Moyenne Corniche through the village of Èze, and the Grande Corniche via La Turbie, high above everything. Depending on the time and the traffic, your chauffeur chooses between the highway and one of the three.

NICE AIRPORT TO MONACO TRANSFER

A fixed price, in both directions

Airport to Monaco or Monaco to the airport: each transfer is billed at the rate quoted when you reserve. If your stay is a busy one, hourly service makes more sense: book your private car for the day so the same chauffeur stays close by, from your first meetings to your flight home.

  1. Yachts moored in Port Hercule in Monaco, between the Rock and the buildings of Monte Carlo Book by the hour

The corniche road, at your own pace

With hourly service, your arrival becomes a scenic drive: a stop in Villefranche, overlooking its bay, lunch in the village of Èze, then Monaco by late afternoon, with your luggage on board all the way.

  2. The Rock of Monaco, its ramparts, gardens and old town above the sea Plan your wedding

    Wedding guests, flight after flight

For a wedding in Monaco, your guests’ flights are spread across the whole day. Every guest is met at arrivals, taken to their hotel, then to the ceremony and the celebration; one contact, Valentin, oversees every ride.

  3. A charcoal-gray yacht moored in Port Hercules, below the buildings of Monte Carlo Plan your journey

    Yacht crews and guests

A crew change, weekend guests, an owner flying in by jet: for a yacht moored in Port Hercules or Fontvieille, arrivals at Nice Airport keep coming. Send us the list of flights: everyone is met, then driven right to the dock with their bags.

  4. A chauffeur in a suit takes the luggage of a couple arriving by private jet and leads them across the airport apron to a black Mercedes-Benz S-Class Book your transfer

    Your price in seconds

Enter your address in Monaco, or the airport for the return trip: the fare shows up instantly, tolls included, and stays exactly what you booked. A question before booking? Message us on WhatsApp or call us, any time.

OUR MERCEDES-BENZ FLEET

How many passengers, how many suitcases?

For one or two people with a suitcase each, a sedan fits the bill: the E-Class, understated and discreet, or the S-Class, roomier in the back. Beyond that, or as soon as the luggage piles up, the V-Class makes the difference: this van seats seven and keeps their suitcases on board. For an even larger group, we can arrange additional vehicles.

DEPENDING ON YOUR FLIGHT TIME

One road, many kinds of arrival

Morning, evening, a meeting the same day or Grand Prix week: no two arrivals are quite alike, and your chauffeur plans for each.

  1. In the morning

    When Monaco heads to work

Nearly 60,000 people work in Monaco’s private sector, and nine out of ten live outside the Principality. In the morning, the road down into Monaco fills up: if you land at that hour, your chauffeur picks the smoothest route and gives you a realistic travel time.

  2. Late at night

    A late landing

A delayed departure, the last flight of the day: whatever the hour, your chauffeur waits until you come through. By then the highway is clear, and Monaco is often just half an hour away.

  3. The same day

    A meeting before the hotel

Your meeting starts an hour after you land? You head directly to Monte Carlo, your bags wait on board, and the hotel comes after the meeting.

  4. During major events

Grand Prix and Yacht Show, from the airport side

During the Grand Prix or the Monaco Yacht Show, private jets pour into Nice, Europe’s second-busiest airport for business aviation, and the road to Monaco gets crowded. We meet you at the right terminal, and every ride takes street closures into account.

AROUND MONACO

La Turbie, Roquebrune and Menton, Monaco’s neighbors

Above Monaco, La Turbie keeps the Trophy of Augustus, raised by the Romans more than two thousand years ago. Farther east, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is home to a 10th-century castle and Le Corbusier’s Cabanon, listed by UNESCO, before Menton and its Lemon Festival every winter. All of them are less than half an hour from Monaco, or easy to reach straight from the airport.

GOOD TO KNOW

Any questions about arriving in Monaco?

Does the trip really take 40 minutes?

Usually, yes, on the highway. Allow more time in the morning, when commuters head into Monaco, and in the late afternoon going the other way; late at night, half an hour is often enough.

For the flight home, what time should we leave Monaco?

Tell us your flight and terminal: we calculate when to leave Monaco based on the route, the traffic at that hour and the formalities at the airport. Right on the minute, your chauffeur is waiting outside your building or hotel.

Where exactly do you drop us off in Monaco?

At the exact address you give us: a hotel entrance, an apartment lobby, the dock at Port Hercules or Fontvieille. On pedestrian streets, your chauffeur pulls over as close as possible and brings your luggage up to the entrance.

In Monaco, is a private chauffeur really better than a taxi?

Without a reservation, you have to join the taxi line outside the terminal and wait your turn. With a chauffeur reserved ahead of time, you are greeted by name as you leave baggage claim, by a driver in a suit and tie, then taken to Monaco in a brand-new, latest-generation Mercedes-Benz, at the price agreed beforehand.

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE

Valentin, from touchdown to your front step

Valentin Sassi founded Riviera Elite Driver in 2016, after a career in tourism and luxury hospitality on the French Riviera. In the five-star hotels and Palaces of Cannes, he learned what great hospitality demands: attention to detail, discretion and the art of anticipation. These qualities have become his signature.

At first the only one behind the wheel, he earned the trust of hotels, partners and loyal clients, then brought together a team of professional chauffeurs who share his vision of the craft.

Since 2023, he has devoted himself entirely to his clients: he personally organizes every journey and coordinates your chauffeurs.

Day and night, seven days a week, the whole team is just a call away. He knows the road to Monaco from morning to night, and tells you honestly how long it will take at the time you land.

The vehicle matters. The people who look after you matter more.
