The Riviera Elite Standard

Two towns where the Esterel meets the sea

One is Roman, the other reinvented itself as a seaside resort in the 19th century: Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël sit side by side, backed by the massif’s red cliffs and facing a long stretch of golden sand. About an hour of highway links them to Nice Airport, and your private driver knows every exit along the way.

Saint-Raphaël43°25′ N · 6°46′ E
  1. Touchdown in Nice

Your landing sets the schedule, by private jet or by airline: the minute you reach arrivals, your chauffeur greets you, then the A8 runs due west, straight through the massif.

  2. The harbor and the basilica

In the Old Port, fishing boats sit alongside sailboats beneath the neo-Byzantine basilica, completed in 1887. It was at Saint-Raphaël that Bonaparte came ashore in 1799, on his return from Egypt.

  3. Fréjus, the Roman town

In the old town stand the Saint-Léonce Cathedral and its episcopal quarter; at the edge of Fréjus, the arches of the Roman aqueduct. Your chauffeur lets you out where the lanes begin, ready for a stroll.

  4. The TGV station

High-speed TGV trains from Paris stop at Saint-Raphaël-Valescure, right in the town center: out front, your chauffeur waves you over and takes your bags at once.

NICE AIRPORT TO SAINT-RAPHAËL AND FRÉJUS TRANSFER

From the quays to the beaches of Fréjus

Arrival and departure are two private car transfers, booked ahead with no unpleasant surprise on the price. Beyond that, keep a chauffeur on hand for an evening out, a round of golf or an entire week.

  1. A marina lined with plane trees and ocher facades, an old tower in the background Book by the hour

    A day of golf

A round at the Valescure golf course in the morning, a table in Saint-Tropez for lunch, back by late afternoon: your chauffeur fits the day to your pace.

  2. Fréjus and its cathedral bell tower above the rooftops, mountains beyond Plan your wedding

    A wedding in Fréjus

A ceremony beneath the cathedral’s vaults, a reception facing the red rocks of Agay: every guest travels from church to party and home again, whenever the celebration winds down.

  3. Glass terminal building of Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, framed by palm trees Plan your journey

    A summer between two towns

A whole season by the sea, with arrivals by plane or TGV, beach days and dinners along the quays? Valentin arranges every ride ahead of time, from arrival to departure.

  4. A chauffeur in a suit takes the luggage of a couple arriving by private jet and leads them across the airport apron to a black Mercedes-Benz S-Class Book your transfer

    Your Nice Airport transfer

Enter the airport and then your address, in Saint-Raphaël or Fréjus: the price shows up right away and won’t change before checkout.

THE YEAR IN SAINT-RAPHAËL AND FRÉJUS

From summer beaches to the Roc d’Azur

Beach days in summer, the great mountain-bike gathering in the fall, a coastal road to drive in the morning, two thousand years of history: every season has its reasons to come.

  1. Summer

    Miles of golden sand

From Saint-Raphaël to Saint-Aygulf, a pale sandy beach runs almost unbroken for 6 km (about 3.7 miles). In the morning we drop you right at the sand; at day’s end, the pickup is whenever you say.

  2. Early October

    The Roc d’Azur

Since 1984, on the first weekend of October, Fréjus has hosted the Roc d’Azur: four days of mountain-bike racing, more than 20,000 riders and a trade show of some 250 exhibitors. For teams and brands, several vehicles can run in step, coordinated by a single contact.

  3. One morning

    The Corniche d’Or

Cut into the rock above the coves in 1903, the Corniche d’Or runs from Saint-Raphaël toward Théoule-sur-Mer, by way of Agay and Le Trayas. At every lookout, your chauffeur can pull over for a photo or a swim.

  4. Since 49 BC

    The Roman arena

Founded by Julius Caesar in 49 BC, Fréjus has kept its arena: up to 12,000 spectators once took their seats there, and concerts are still held inside. After the last song, your chauffeur is waiting right outside the arena.

GOOD TO KNOW

A question before you come?

Are Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël far from the airport?

About an hour by highway, a little less for Fréjus; allow more on peak holiday travel days.

Do you also cover TGV arrivals?

Yes: just give us your train’s arrival time; when it pulls into Saint-Raphaël-Valescure, your chauffeur is waiting by the exit, then drives you on to Fréjus, Agay or wherever you are staying.

Can we take the Corniche d’Or instead of the highway?

Of course, as long as your schedule allows: slower than the highway, it hugs every cove from Théoule to Agay before reaching Saint-Raphaël. Simply note it on your booking.

Is a private chauffeur worth it over a taxi to Saint-Raphaël?

At the Nice terminal, a taxi comes only after a long wait at the stand. Our way is different: a chauffeur, immaculate in a suit and tie, holds up your name the moment you appear; just outside waits your brand-new, latest-generation Mercedes-Benz.

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE

Your stay below the Esterel, with Valentin

Valentin Sassi founded Riviera Elite Driver in 2016, after a career in tourism and luxury hospitality on the French Riviera. In the five-star hotels and Palaces of Cannes, he learned what great hospitality demands: attention to detail, discretion and the art of anticipation. These qualities have become his signature.

At first the only one behind the wheel, he earned the trust of hotels, partners and loyal clients, then brought together a team of professional chauffeurs who share his vision of the craft.

Since 2023, he has devoted himself entirely to his clients: he personally organizes every journey and coordinates your chauffeurs.

Day and night, seven days a week, the whole team is just a call away. The quays of Saint-Raphaël, the lanes of Fréjus, the bends of the Corniche d’Or, the Valescure station: Valentin has every address down, from one side of the massif to the other.

The vehicle matters. The people who look after you matter more.
