The hotel closes in winter: its season runs from spring to fall, with the Festival in May and the cabanas in high summer.

Reopening
Closed since the fall, the hotel welcomes its first guests as the rose garden blooms again. Our chauffeurs take the Cap road once more, as the season’s first flights arrive.

The Cannes Film Festival
The hotel hosts some of the Festival’s parties. For screenings, galas and late-night returns, your chauffeur links the Cap and the Croisette, however late it gets.

The pool and the cabanas
Carved right into the rock, the pool looks out over the sea, with thirty-one cabanas at the water’s edge. Between swims, lunch is close by, at the Antibes harbor or in the streets of Juan-les-Pins, and getting there is your chauffeur’s job.

Since 1870
The Villa Soleil
Hippolyte de Villemessant, founder of Le Figaro, built the house in 1870 to host writers; Jules Verne and Anatole France stayed there. It became a hotel in 1889, took the name Eden-Roc in 1914, and F. Scott Fitzgerald described it in Tender Is the Night.

Getting to the Hôtel du Cap: a question?
How far is the hotel from Nice Airport?
About 50 minutes, by the highway and then the roads of the Cap; a little longer in summer and on big event nights.
Is the hotel open all year?
No: the hotel closes from October to April. Outside its season, we remain at your service, in Antibes and all along the Riviera.
Do you pick up yacht guests at Port Vauban?
Yes: just give us the disembarkation time set by the captain. Our chauffeurs wait at the quay, then drive the guests to the hotel or the airport.
To the Hôtel du Cap, is a taxi enough?
Hailing an airport taxi means lining up first. A private chauffeur turns that around: you are the one being waited for. Your name is on the chauffeur’s tablet; suit and tie on, your chauffeur walks you over to a brand-new, latest-generation Mercedes-Benz parked just outside, bound for the hotel’s front steps.
