The Riviera Elite Standard

To Barcelona, along the Catalan coast

From Nice, Barcelona is a drive of about seven and a half hours, starting with the A8 into Provence, then the A9 past Nîmes, Montpellier and Perpignan, and, once over the border at Le Perthus, the AP-7, which runs by Figueres and Girona before reaching the Catalan capital. You can set off from Monaco, Nice, Antibes, Cannes or Saint-Tropez, and your private driver leaves you in whichever neighborhood you choose. For the return, we start from Barcelona itself: your hotel, El Prat airport, Sants station or the port, as you come off your cruise.

  1. From El Prat to the Riviera

Flying into Barcelona, Spain’s second-busiest airport? Your chauffeur tracks the arrival time and greets you after baggage claim; by evening, dinner is waiting on the French Riviera.

  2. Off to PortAventura as a family

A family vacation at PortAventura: the V-Class, with its seven seats, carries parents, children and grandparents together. A sedan only takes one large suitcase, with a bag for the cabin.

  3. Lunch in Girona

Halfway there, nothing beats lunch: in Girona’s old town, or on the Costa Brava, depending on the time. Let us know, and the stop is added to the trip.

  4. At the cruise terminal

Ending your cruise in Barcelona? At disembarkation, you will find your chauffeur outside the terminal; the luggage goes in the trunk, and the road to the Riviera begins.

THE YEAR IN CATALONIA

Barcelona, Sitges and Figueres through the year

Mobile technology at the end of winter, roses and books in April, fantasy films in October, Dalí in every season: Catalonia always has an occasion.

  1. Late February or early March

    Mobile World Congress

The largest trade show in the mobile industry, Mobile World Congress takes place every year at the Fira de Barcelona. Between meetings, your chauffeur is reachable at any moment.

  2. April 23

    Sant Jordi

On April 23, Catalonia celebrates its patron saint, Saint George: people exchange a rose and a book, and since 1995 UNESCO has marked the day as World Book Day. A lovely date to discover Barcelona.

  3. Early October

    The Sitges film festival

Devoted to fantasy cinema, the Sitges festival usually runs during the first half of October. Once the final screening ends, the drive to your hotel is already arranged.

  4. Year-round

    The Dalí museum in Figueres

In Figueres, on the road to Barcelona, the theater-museum devoted to Salvador Dalí opened in 1974 on the ruins of the old municipal theater. A stop of an hour or a morning, as you like.

GOOD TO KNOW

A question before heading to Catalonia?

How many hours to Barcelona?

Count on roughly seven and a half hours when leaving Nice; from Saint-Tropez the drive is a little shorter, from Monaco a little longer. The fare stays put, whatever the traffic.

We are ending a cruise in Barcelona: will you be there to meet us?

Yes, at the cruise terminal, but also at the airport, the train station or your hotel: the chauffeur follows your arrival, then heads back up to the French Riviera.

What about PortAventura?

Yes. The park lies southwest of Barcelona, on the Costa Daurada near Salou: a transfer from the Riviera, or a day there with your chauffeur, starting from Barcelona.

Could a taxi take us to Barcelona?

A taxi can do it. With us, the difference shows: a chauffeur in a suit and tie, always punctual, a fare settled ahead of time, covering tolls, and a brand-new, latest-generation Mercedes-Benz.

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE

Barcelona and Catalonia, with Valentin

Valentin Sassi founded Riviera Elite Driver in 2016, after a career in tourism and luxury hospitality on the French Riviera. In the five-star hotels and Palaces of Cannes, he learned what great hospitality demands: attention to detail, discretion and the art of anticipation. These qualities have become his signature.

At first the only one behind the wheel, he earned the trust of hotels, partners and loyal clients, then brought together a team of professional chauffeurs who share his vision of the craft.

Since 2023, he has devoted himself entirely to his clients: he personally organizes every journey and coordinates your chauffeurs.

Day and night, seven days a week, the whole team is just a call away. Once into Spain, your chauffeur knows every exit toward the Costa Brava and into central Barcelona.

The vehicle matters. The people who look after you matter more.
