The Riviera Elite Standard

From the Nice runways to the peninsula

Between the Nice runways and the peninsula, the road crosses the city, skirts the harbor, then follows the Basse Corniche above the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer: about 45 minutes in all. Informed of every delay, your private driver adjusts the pickup time.

Glass terminal building of Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, framed by palm trees
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport43°40′ N · 7°13′ E
  1. At the private jet terminal

For a private flight, the meeting point is the Nice business aviation terminal: your chauffeur is there with the private car before the wheels touch down, then takes charge of the luggage.

  2. Late arrivals

Delays that pile up, a landing after midnight: nothing changes, your chauffeur stays at the airport until you come out. At that hour the corniche is quiet, and the peninsula is already asleep.

  3. Along the Basse Corniche

Beyond Nice’s harbor, the road runs high above the bay, then turns off toward the peninsula and its old fishing village.

  4. Monaco, thirty minutes on

From the Cap, the Basse Corniche reaches Monaco in about thirty minutes, by way of Beaulieu-sur-Mer: dinner in the principality needs no planning.

NICE AIRPORT TO SAINT-JEAN-CAP-FERRAT TRANSFER

From the arrivals hall to the peninsula

Each airport run to or from the Cap is charged at the rate confirmed on booking; dinners, full days and longer stays are better served by an hourly chauffeur who stays close by.

  1. The harbor and beach of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, houses on the hillside Book by the hour

A day on the Basse Corniche

Lunch in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, the Ephrussi gardens in the afternoon, Monaco in the evening: a single chauffeur sees the whole day through.

  2. The village of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, its rooftops and its harbor, with the wooded tip of the peninsula beyond Plan your wedding

    Vows facing the bay

Ceremony in the village, dinner beneath the pines: your guests arrive from the airport on their own flight times, and each heads home when they wish.

  3. Villas among the pines above the bay, with the Cap-Ferrat peninsula in the distance Plan your journey

    Opening the house

As the season opens, Valentin works with your house manager to bring in the whole household: family, staff and trunks, flight by flight, with several vehicles if needed.

  4. A chauffeur in a suit takes the luggage of a couple arriving by private jet and leads them across the airport apron to a black Mercedes-Benz S-Class Book your transfer

    Your transfer to the peninsula

Add your peninsula address: your airport fare appears within a second and won’t move.

THE YEAR AROUND THE CAP

From the Grand Prix to Cocteau’s frescoes

A race weekend in Monaco, dinners in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, gardens to visit, a house covered in frescoes: the peninsula has its own rhythm.

  1. One morning

    The Ephrussi gardens

Built between 1905 and 1912 for Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, the baroness’s pink villa overlooks the bay; its nine gardens spread over seven hectares (about 17 acres).

  2. Since 1950

    Cocteau’s frescoes

In 1950, Jean Cocteau, a guest at Santo Sospir, painted his first large mural decoration there; the house can now be visited by appointment.

GOOD TO KNOW

A question before landing in Nice?

Does the drive change with the time of day?

Yes: roughly 45 minutes is the norm; a busy Nice adds a little, and late at night the trip shrinks noticeably.

Can you meet my private plane?

Of course: for a private flight, we wait on the business aviation side; as soon as the bags are stowed, we head straight for the Cap.

Can you coordinate the arrival of the whole household?

Yes: send us every flight number; each traveler gets a vehicle, and a V-Class follows with the luggage.

For Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, is a taxi enough, or is a private chauffeur better?

In Nice, the taxi line can mean a long wait. Instead, your name is on a sign: just beyond arrivals, a chauffeur, perfectly groomed, in a suit and tie, is waiting, and you reach the Cap in a vehicle bearing the three-pointed star, a brand-new, latest-generation Mercedes-Benz.

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE

Your arrivals at the Cap, with Valentin

Valentin Sassi founded Riviera Elite Driver in 2016, after a career in tourism and luxury hospitality on the French Riviera. In the five-star hotels and Palaces of Cannes, he learned what great hospitality demands: attention to detail, discretion and the art of anticipation. These qualities have become his signature.

At first the only one behind the wheel, he earned the trust of hotels, partners and loyal clients, then brought together a team of professional chauffeurs who share his vision of the craft.

Since 2023, he has devoted himself entirely to his clients: he personally organizes every journey and coordinates your chauffeurs.

Day and night, seven days a week, the whole team is just a call away. The Basse Corniche, the bay, the peninsula’s lanes and the jet terminal: Valentin knows the route mile by mile.

The vehicle matters. The people who look after you matter more.
