The Riviera Elite Standard

The Grand Prix, from practice to the checkered flag

In early June, Monaco’s streets turn into a racetrack: the Grand Prix has been run here since 1929, around Port Hercules and through Monte Carlo and La Condamine. For this extraordinary weekend, a private driver links your arrival, your hotel and the circuit.

  1. A flight into Nice, then Monaco

Airline or private jet, the arrival is the same: you are greeted as you touch down in Nice, and the Principality is not far away.

  2. Guests of the yachts

During the Grand Prix, the yachts of Port Hercules welcome their guests trackside. The captain shares the schedule with us, and our V-Classes and sedans bring everyone to the harbor.

  3. A hotel in France, the race in Monaco

Plenty of guests sleep in Nice, Beaulieu or Cap-d’Ail: with hourly service, a chauffeur collects you there each morning, takes you to the Grand Prix, then returns you to your hotel when the day is over.

  4. To the edge of the circuit

During the Grand Prix, part of the town turns into a racetrack: you are set down close to your seats in the stands, to your hotel or to the quay, without a parking space to find.

THREE DAYS OF RACING

To the rhythm of the engines

Practice, qualifying, the race, then the parties: the Grand Prix plays out over three days, and your chauffeur follows your schedule.

  1. Friday

    Free practice

On Friday, two free practice sessions open the weekend, as the drivers discover the streets of Monaco. Your chauffeur plans an early departure, so you are seated before the first session.

  2. Saturday

    Qualifying

On Saturday, qualifying sets the starting grid on this narrow, barrier-lined circuit. Once the session ends, your ride back is ready.

  3. Sunday

    The race

On Sunday, the race: Sainte-Dévote, Mirabeau, the Fairmont hairpin, then the tunnel, where the drivers reach nearly 300 km/h, close to 185 mph. That day, it pays to leave early, and your chauffeur is ready.

  4. Every evening

    Grand Prix nights

Every evening of the weekend, the Principality celebrates, in hotels and aboard the yachts. Booked for the night, your chauffeur heads back only when you say so, however late.

AROUND THE CIRCUIT

From Nice to Menton, where to stay for the Grand Prix

Monaco fills up for the Grand Prix: many stay in Nice, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Villefranche or Menton, and reach the circuit each day with their chauffeur.

GOOD TO KNOW

A question about your Grand Prix weekend?

When is the Monaco Grand Prix?

Early every June, over three days: practice on Friday, qualifying on Saturday, the race on Sunday. Send us your arrival and departure dates, and we prepare the rest.

How do we get to the circuit during the Grand Prix?

The circuit’s streets serve as the track for those three days: you are dropped wherever it is easiest to step out, near the stands or the harbor; if your chauffeur is booked by the hour, the pickup happens at a spot agreed together.

Do you drive yacht guests to the harbor?

Yes: we work from the guest list and times the captain provides, and our chauffeurs bring guests from Nice Airport or their hotel to Port Hercules.

Is a taxi good enough for the Grand Prix?

Hail a taxi and you start in the line; our chauffeur is already waiting, tablet in hand with your name. Over a race weekend, the difference matters: punctual service, a fare settled at booking, a chauffeur in a suit and tie at every pickup, and a brand-new, latest-generation Mercedes-Benz.

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE

The Grand Prix, with Valentin

Valentin Sassi founded Riviera Elite Driver in 2016, after a career in tourism and luxury hospitality on the French Riviera. In the five-star hotels and Palaces of Cannes, he learned what great hospitality demands: attention to detail, discretion and the art of anticipation. These qualities have become his signature.

At first the only one behind the wheel, he earned the trust of hotels, partners and loyal clients, then brought together a team of professional chauffeurs who share his vision of the craft.

Since 2023, he has devoted himself entirely to his clients: he personally organizes every journey and coordinates your chauffeurs.

Day and night, seven days a week, the whole team is just a call away. From Nice to the Principality, your chauffeur knows the detours of race days.

The vehicle matters. The people who look after you matter more.
