In late September or early October, the TFWA World Exhibition, which Cannes simply calls the Tax Free, moves into the Palais des Festivals: five days in which brands from every continent meet the retailers behind duty-free shops. Every ride of the week is in the hands of a private driver.

From the jet bridge to the Croisette
A scheduled flight brings you into Nice, about 45 minutes from the Palais; a jet, more likely into Cannes-Mandelieu, on the edge of town. Your chauffeur tracks your actual arrival time and is there to welcome you in the terminal.

Fragrance, wine and spirits, fashion, jewelry: a brand comes to the show with its executives, its sales team and its guests. Valentin works out with you who rides with whom, gives groups the V-Class, and personally coordinates every chauffeur: one contact for the entire brand.

In early fall, summer hasn’t quite left Cannes. Inside, the air conditioning runs, the Wi-Fi is on, a charger is at hand, and the onboard refrigerator always holds cold water.
A deal to celebrate? On request, we’ll have champagne waiting, at extra cost. Our chauffeurs speak several languages, which helps when your team flies in from many countries.

Your chauffeur during TFWA: any questions?
When and where does TFWA take place?
Every fall, from late September into early October, for five days. Its home is the Palais des Festivals, beside the Old Port.
Can you transport a brand’s entire team?
Yes: we work out with you how many vehicles you need, and Valentin schedules the chauffeurs around your timetable, from the first team members to arrive to the last ones to leave.
Will the chauffeur wait during a business dinner?
Yes: your chauffeur stays near the restaurant for the whole meal, or returns when you say, then drives you back, even past midnight.
At TFWA, why a private chauffeur rather than a taxi?
At the airport, any taxi ride starts with waiting your turn at the stand. Valentin Sassi founded Riviera Elite Driver in 2016, after a career in tourism and luxury hospitality on the French Riviera. In the five-star hotels and Palaces of Cannes, he learned what great hospitality demands: attention to detail, discretion and the art of anticipation. These qualities have become his signature.
At first the only one behind the wheel, he earned the trust of hotels, partners and loyal clients, then brought together a team of professional chauffeurs who share his vision of the craft.
Since 2023, he has devoted himself entirely to his clients: he personally organizes every journey and coordinates your chauffeurs.
Day and night, seven days a week, the whole team is just a call away. A meeting brought forward, a buyer to pick up at a hotel, a dinner added the same evening: one message to Valentin, and your rides are reorganized.
