Some four hundred meters, about a quarter mile, separate the station from the Majestic. Outside the station, your chauffeur loads the luggage, and the hotel appears before your ticket is even put away.

An Art Deco facade
Designed by Théo Petit, the architect of the Normandy in Deauville, the Majestic opened in 1926 and joined the future Barrière group in 1952. Fouquet’s opened its Cannes restaurant there in 2001.

Arriving at the Majestic: a question?
From Nice Airport, how long a drive is it?
Roughly 45 minutes by highway, provided traffic is light. Summer, or a major event in town, can stretch it to an hour or more.
The Palais is opposite: do we need a chauffeur during a conference?
Not to cross the Croisette! But for meetings in town, dinners and evenings in the hills, yes: hire your chauffeur for the night or the whole day, and you return to the Majestic whenever you choose.
Do you look after guests from the Old Port yachts?
Yes: working from the times the captain gives us, our chauffeurs make every run needed between the port, the hotel and the airport.
To reach the Majestic, taxi or private chauffeur?
The taxi option begins with a wait at the airport stand. Ours begins with a chauffeur in a suit and tie, holding your name up on a screen. Your fare is locked at booking; the vehicle, a brand-new, latest-generation Mercedes-Benz, takes you to the Majestic’s entrance.

Valentin Sassi founded Riviera Elite Driver in 2016, after a career in tourism and luxury hospitality on the French Riviera. In the five-star hotels and Palaces of Cannes, he learned what great hospitality demands: attention to detail, discretion and the art of anticipation. These qualities have become his signature.
At first the only one behind the wheel, he earned the trust of hotels, partners and loyal clients, then brought together a team of professional chauffeurs who share his vision of the craft.
