On the Martinez rooftop, the tall white letters can be seen from all around the bay. The simplest way to get there is a private driver: one greets you as your flight lands, at Cannes-Mandelieu or in Nice, or as your train pulls into Cannes station. From Nice Airport, plan on roughly 45 minutes on the road, a little more in high summer.

Port Canto, steps away
Where the Croisette ends, Port Canto shelters many yachts. Usually it is the captain who sends us the guests’ schedules, and our chauffeurs take them between the hotel and the dock, in both directions.

The Cannes Film Festival
During the Festival, the Martinez welcomes movie stars; from the 1990s to 2015, the French channel Canal+ even set up its TV studio on the hotel’s beach. Your chauffeur handles the Palais runs, there and back, night after night.

Since 1929
An Art Deco landmark
Built for Emmanuel Martinez by architect Charles Palmero, it was the largest hotel in the region when it opened. The Martinez appears in the French comedy La Cité de la peur, and in 2026 it became the first establishment in Cannes to earn the official Palace distinction.

Is the Martinez far from Nice Airport?
Count on some 45 minutes of highway driving when traffic is light. In high summer, or when a big event fills Cannes, it can take an hour or more.
Can you take yacht guests to Port Canto?
Yes: once the captain gives us the timings and the boat’s name, our chauffeurs run between the dock, the Martinez and the airport as often as needed.
Will you also meet us at the station?
Of course. Send us your train: from the moment you leave the station, you are in good hands, and the Martinez is a short ride away.
Martinez arrivals: taxi or private chauffeur?
Taxis make you line up at the airport first. With us, it is the other way around: a chauffeur dressed in a suit and tie is already there, your name on screen. The price is agreed at booking; as for the ride, it is a brand-new, latest-generation Mercedes-Benz until you reach the Martinez.
