Each spring, the Festival takes over the Croisette; the hotel’s rooftop then hosts meetings, lunches and private dinners facing the sea, often until late. Your chauffeur waits until the last glass.

Television professionals fill the Palais nearby for their big fall market. Between meetings, you’re driven to business lunches and to evening events held away from the Croisette.

Until 1982
The first Palais
The Cercle Nautique once stood here, replaced by the Palais built in 1947: the Festival lived there until 1982, and the 1959 Eurovision Song Contest was held there too. The hotel took its place; it has been the JW Marriott since 2011.

The JW Marriott sits halfway between the Palais and the Carlton, a few minutes from Le Suquet’s old streets and its harbor. The hills of Mougins and Grasse are close, Antibes a little farther east; Monaco and Saint-Tropez each deserve a full day.

Nice Airport to the hotel: what drive time to expect?
Usually some 45 minutes by highway with light traffic; in high season, or when the city hosts a big event, budget an hour or a little more.
Is the Croisette open to you during the Festival?
It is: our chauffeurs hold the permits needed on the Croisette for the whole Festival, right up to the hotel’s entrance. Whether it’s two hours or a full day, one chauffeur follows you from screenings to dinners, then home.
Can you look after an entire delegation?
Yes: several vehicles, the V-Class included, are coordinated for the arrivals, the back and forth with the Palais and the dinners, and Valentin remains your one contact throughout.
Wouldn’t a taxi do just as well for the JW Marriott?

At first the only one behind the wheel, he earned the trust of hotels, partners and loyal clients, then brought together a team of professional chauffeurs who share his vision of the craft.
