The Riviera Elite Standard
Riviera Elite Driver provides a licensed and insured private chauffeur service operated in accordance with the professional requirements for private passenger transport. Our vehicles and chauffeurs hold the required professional authorizations and are covered by the appropriate insurance for chauffeur operations. Compliance, safety and the protection of our clients are integral to our standards.
Serre Chevalier stretches along the Guisane valley, from Briançon to Le Monêtier-les-Bains, while Montgenèvre sits on the neighboring pass, at 1,860 meters (about 6,100 feet), right against the Italian border. In winter, the road from Nice Airport takes about four and a half hours, and your private driver stays at the wheel the whole way, until you reach your chalet or hotel.

Whether you land on a commercial flight or a private jet, we follow your plane until it touches down. If it runs late, your pickup time moves with it. Once you have collected your bags, your chauffeur takes it from there.
One vehicle for the whole family, or several for a group of friends: we plan the departures together, and you keep a single point of contact from the first call to the trip home.
Serre Chevalier is reached by way of Gap and Embrun; Montgenèvre, fastest through Italy. On the day you travel, we check the snow and the traffic on the planned route, and our vehicles set off equipped for winter.
Chantemerle, Villeneuve, Le Monêtier-les-Bains or Briançon: the ride ends just outside your chalet or hotel. In Montgenèvre, built right on the pass, your chauffeur gets as close to your address as possible.
NICE AIRPORT TO SERRE CHEVALIER AND MONTGENÈVRE TRANSFER
There are two ways to travel with us. For the journey there and back, a transfer, priced when you book. Once you are settled in, our hourly service: a private car with its chauffeur for a few hours, for an evening in Briançon or a day at the other resort.
In Le Monêtier-les-Bains, the Grands Bains offer naturally hot thermal water at 37 °C (about 99 °F). After your last run, your chauffeur drives you there, waits, then takes you back to your chalet.
A ceremony in Briançon, a reception in Serre Chevalier? We greet your guests in Nice as each flight lands, then handle every ride on the big day: one person coordinates all the vehicles.
Bringing a team or a group of friends to Serre Chevalier? Send us the number of guests and their flights: we arrange the vehicles from the welcome in Nice to the trip home, with one contact following the whole stay.
Every ride has its fixed price from the moment you book, and snow will not change it. For your flight home, we agree on a departure time together, with time to spare for the drive down.
CLIENT REVIEWS
Some clients have relied on us for their rides for more than ten years; others have handed us groups of more than twenty people. Their Google reviews speak of punctuality and care better than we ever could.
Authentic reviews on GoogleWe have used them for over 10 years as our regular chauffeur service for airport transfers and various trips around the area, both for ourselves and for our guests.
They have always been punctual, reliable, and available even at short notice. We highly recommend the company to anyone looking for a professional, exclusive, and comfortable travel experience at a very reasonable price.

OUR MERCEDES-BENZ FLEET
For two travelers and a few suitcases, the E-Class or the S-Class is a fine choice. With children, luggage for the week and ski and snowboard gear, choose the V-Class, a van with seats for up to seven passengers and far more room for bags than a sedan. For a larger group, we can arrange additional vehicles.

Space and comfort
The V-Class combines the comfort of a sedan with the space of a van, in a beautifully finished cabin. It is the natural choice for carrying your luggage, even the largest pieces.

Understated and refined
Elegant and discreet, the E-Class welcomes you into a peaceful atmosphere. It is a favorite with business travelers, who make the most of every minute on the road.

Prestige and serenity
The S-Class embodies all the prestige of Mercedes-Benz. With its unrivaled comfort, it is made for occasions that call for the very best.

PART OF THE SERVICE
The cabin is at the right temperature when you step in, and the onboard refrigerator keeps bottled water chilled for the whole drive. With Wi-Fi and chargers, you can let your chalet know when you will arrive, or wrap up your calls before reaching the mountains.
Skis, snowboards and boots ride along with you, and your chauffeur handles them at both ends. Child seats are fitted whenever you ask; champagne is also an option, at an additional charge.
AROUND BRIANÇON
From the slopes of the Guisane valley to the hairpins of the Izoard, a few landmarks for your stay.
Briançon, Chantemerle, Villeneuve and Le Monêtier-les-Bains share 250 kilometers (about 155 miles) of slopes, from 1,200 to 2,830 meters (about 3,940 to 9,280 feet). The ski area was born in 1941, with the Chantemerle aerial tramway.
At 2,362 meters (about 7,750 feet), the road over the Izoard opens only in the warmer months: snow closes it from November to May or June. The Tour de France has crossed it more than thirty times, through the scree of the Casse Déserte. Your chauffeur can take you there for a day out.
At 1,326 meters (about 4,350 feet), Briançon is considered the highest town in France. The Vauban fortifications around its old town have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2008.
As early as 1907, Montgenèvre was hosting an international ski competition. The village grew up on the pass itself, at 1,860 meters (about 6,100 feet), close to where the Durance river begins.

GOOD TO KNOW
The fastest one does: the Italian highway to Turin, then up the Susa valley to the Montgenèvre pass, which stays open all winter. For Serre Chevalier, the route stays in France: highway as far as Gap, then Embrun and Briançon. Both routes take about four and a half hours in winter, and your chauffeur picks one based on the day’s conditions.
Yes. The road to Serre Chevalier runs right through Briançon, so lunch in the Vauban old town or a quick errand fits easily into the ride. Just let us know when you book, and we will plan the stop.
Yes. Montgenèvre is 14 kilometers (about 9 miles) up the road from Briançon: your chauffeur drives you there in the morning and returns to pick you up at the end of the day. In between, the Via Lattea, or Milky Way, ski area takes you into Italy across 400 kilometers (about 250 miles) of runs, from Claviere to Sestriere and Sauze d’Oulx.
With a taxi, your trip begins in the line outside the Nice terminal. A private chauffeur is already waiting as you walk out, in a suit and tie, with a tablet that shows your name. The drive to the Hautes-Alpes then takes place in a brand-new, latest-generation Mercedes-Benz, ready for winter.

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE
Valentin Sassi founded Riviera Elite Driver in 2016, after a career in tourism and luxury hospitality on the French Riviera. In the five-star hotels and Palaces of Cannes, he learned what great hospitality demands: attention to detail, discretion and the art of anticipation. These qualities have become his signature.
At first the only one behind the wheel, he earned the trust of hotels, partners and loyal clients, then brought together a team of professional chauffeurs who share his vision of the craft.
Since 2023, he has devoted himself entirely to his clients: he personally organizes every journey and coordinates your chauffeurs.
Day and night, seven days a week, the whole team is just a call away. For Serre Chevalier and Montgenèvre, he picks the route to suit your resort and the day’s weather, and sets your departure time with you, both ways.
The vehicle matters. The people who look after you matter more.
